Trying to decide between a 2012 sea doo gti 130 or 155

I just sold my 2006 Yamaha vx110 this past weekend and I'm definitely going with a Sea Doo. I am definitely going with a GTI, but I can't decide between the 130 or 155. Is the extra 25 horsepower worth $1000?

This is my first post, so I apologize if this has been asked before but when I did a search, all I found was people comparing the Yamaha vs sea doo or Kawasaki vs sea doo

    Thanks for any responses!

it all depends on what your wanting out of it. the 130 should be comparable to your vx. I'd get the 155 and haggle with them

    ...get the 155.

Trust me, eventually you will wish you had, if you dont.
If your gonna leave it stock. An extra 25 ponies will always result in more fun.

Thanks. Is the VTS worth it? Never rode a ski that has it so I can't personally compare it.

Definitely going to haggle with them. Going up to a local dealer who had two sitting on their lot yesterday when I drove past.

VTS is fairly handy, although i dont use it as much as i thought I would on my GTR.
I upgraded this year from a 2K6 GTIse 130 - cuz I wanted more power.
Miss the fuel economy of the n/a ski, but ya gotta pay to play.

Not much another member was looking to add mods but couldnt find much. You have the usual, air intake, free mods, prop, but not much to do. I would def get the 155, also I came from a ski with no vts and now I cant stop using it, its awesome. Why not get a GTR or you wanna stay N/A.

I want to stay N/A and the GTR is out of my budget. The GTI SE 155 would already be pushing it to the limit of my budget. Now I am just trying to find a dealer that has deal besides just charging MSRP
