My stock VXR has indicated 78 in the chop. I know I wasn't going anywhere near that, maybe 60 tops.

New H.O. guys and gals...need some numbers.

I'm trying to get a bunch of numbers for these 12' FX boats. After I get enough feedback, I'll let you why I'm trying to draw some conclusions here. This is only for stock engines only.
Only done one topend run when it was less than 10hrs. Showed a tick over 65 riding two up, neutral trim. Don't remember exact fuel state but was not at low fuel warning. No mods.

I sure would like to go the 63mph that this thing is *supposed* to do... Do they test these on glass? Also... I have 31 hours on it. I haven't found a ski on the lake that I couldn't pass but it seems most of the people are scared of the chop.
How much fuel was in the tank? Did you do any low fuel runs...........seems you need to be on low fuel to get close to 63 mph on the new HO.

I always fill up before I go out so full tank , one click bow up and I weigh 208lbs. I ran 45 miles too and still had 3/4 of a tank or that's what the gage indicates. the hull is rock solid as ar as stability goes though compared to my '08 fx.

edit: Tapatalk signed me in with facebook on my tablet... I hate that.

Here's a short video of the conditions... The ski definitely feels REALLY fast but would love a switch to kick in some boost on demand... lol....

At idle, does your engine run rough? Or is it pretty smooth?

Mine hunts around a little, nothing too much, but it is in between the correct rpm.
Was out yesterday, varying conditions, best speed was 59.6 on a 3/4 - full fuel tank.
