    787 smokes on startup

Hello All. From what I have read, I'm having a case of the inner seals on the crank going out. My question is, is it possible to replace those seals? or are they some how affixed to the crankshaft? I can't find this info anywhere online. Every one says to replace the whole crankshaft. I've seen kits that say they'll replace the inner seals. Will that work for me? I have already pulled the rotary valve cover off and there is no standing oil in there.
    Thanks for your help.

The inner seals (center crank seals) are on the inside of the crank cheeks - You will need to completely disassemble the crank to replace them - just purchase a rebuilt crank..
