How do YOU load your ski onto your stand?

My old house used to have an I-Beam in the ceiling, in which I hooked a hoist and it was simple. I moved and this new garage has nothing in the overhead to get at (finished ceilings). What do you guys do? Engine hoist?

I just chain it to the back of my traier so it cant slide out, then my son and I or a buddy just drag it back.

I can do mine by myself. Coat your bunks with liquid rollers.

No clue, a member here posted that awhile back. Looks like his broom lost it's life.

I often use this method using a ratchet or cam lock strap.

A variation is to strap the cart to the trailer, then chain or strap the rear of the ski to a solid object. Slowly drive the tow car forward and the ski slides onto the cart. Don't drive go too far forward

I need to buy some more of that stuff.

Once on the cart, be sure to immediately attach straps front and back from ski to cart. I attach the rear strap even before the ski is all the way onto the cart. It is easy to slide the ski right off the lubricated cart bunks, even while just pushing it around on the wheels.
