05 rxp need help taking this supercharger out.

New to the forum, but I have read a lot on here over the past few day. I am selling my ski and everyone that comes to look at it is scared of the supercharger. It has 93 hours on it with ceramic washers. Wow I wish I would have found this forum earlier. Mine has never given me any issues. I am not mechanically inclined and would like to send the sc to Jerry before I sell. This way I have peice of mind , so if anyone lives near Pensacola and would be willing to help me I would be grateful.

    Thanks,

    Josh z850-982-3399

    Welcome to the Hulk,
The way I see it you have 2 choices,
    1. sell the ski as is, let them hear it run and or let them test ride it, adjust the price for the ceramic washers
    2. dump more money into it to get the washers changed out, but bring price of ski up to compensate for the money spent,

If you want to remove the super charger look in the how to section and there are some easy step by step instructions with pictures,
    good luck,

Jerry sent that to me. I am not great with tools I would hate to break something. However I may attempt I am sure it just takes time. Just gotta follow the steps.

Jerry recomends the complete rebuild since it has 93 hours so I'll have to take it out. I like your option #1. I am willing to drop the price to compensate their time and the cost of the complete rebuild.

you could give them Jerry's info and say, "this guy will rebuild it better than brand new for this price"

I am going to ask my cousin to help. He works for gm and is good with tools. He should be able to hook it up. In the meantime I will show them Jerry's emails to me and just knock it off the price.
