VXR Flushing - Weekend Salt Water Trip?

Here's a question from my brother about his VXRs. He typically rides in fresh water and never flushes the skis since no salt water operation. If he runs down to the coast and runs them a couple of days in the salt water then comes home on Sunday evening or Monday and runs them in the fresh water again, is that safe from a flushing perspective? I told him yes. Interested to see what the long time ski owners have to say on it.

Wash it and wash it again hull and all. I'd personally spay an anti-corrosive on the motor as well. Better safe than sorry.
