    impeller seized

hi , i have a 2006 honda aquatrax f-12, and tried to get it running today only to find that the impeller is seized in the housing, we got a wrench on the nut on the shaft and could get it to turn a little bit but when trying to crank the motor it would get back to the bad spot and seize. how difficult is it to take apart the pump? is there anything i should keep an eye on ? and what should be replaced, that part of the housing ,or is there a wear ring?

    Thanks in advance
