    discarding of flares

    sold the boat....how do i get rid of these things??
    their over 5 yrs old...definitely won't be using in the ski,don't want to kill the garbage guy,and west marine was clueless...thought about the 4th,but we've got horses around here....could bury 'em maybe..?

    Light them and let them burn out one night in the driveway. If they light they light. If they don't they don't.

    Just a suggestion but light them during the day and see if they light if they do it won't be to bright to scare the horses

    I would light them... if its too bright the horse will look away....just good horse sense....lol

    The yacht club by me has an anual flare shoot and burn to solve this problen
