    Solas Nose Cone

    Hi,
    I have a impeller nose cone that keeps coming off. Should I run without it or just locktite the crap out of it?

    I had the same problem and just ran without one for a long time, and saw no change in performance.

    Run it. Score the threads a little and use loctite...

    +1, Jerrys advice for the nose cone - use a flat head screw driver and a hammer and put 3 perpendicular gouges into the thread, then red loctite and you won't have a problem.

    yup did that and hasnt moved since..starting to think this jerry guy nows his stuff...lol
