Illegal Alien Pleads Guilty And Vows To Self-Deport After Stealing $1M Through Bogus Earned Income Tax Credit Claims

    Via Washington Examiner:

A Mexican man residing illegally in Milwaukee, Wis., pled guilty and agreed to self-deport after Justice Department officials discovered he stole more than $1 million from the government by filing a large number of bogus Additional Child Tax Credit claims, the Eastern District of Wisconsin’s office announced Tuesday.

Dimas Chavez-Pina pled guilty on Feb. 2 to theft of government money and aggravated identity theft for pilfering $1,058,827 from the U.S. Treasury between 2011 and 2014, the district’s U.S. attorney Gregory J. Haanstad said in a statement.

The 29-year-old man applied for Individual Tax Identification Numbers from the Internal Revenue Service, which the tax agency gives to non-citizens who, because of their immigration status, do not have a social security number. ITIN recipients can then use the unique number to file income tax returns.

Chavez-Pina applied for an unspecified number of ITINs with personal information he had stolen from Mexican citizens, according to the plea agreement. He then filed taxes under each stolen identity and claimed the Additional Child Tax Credit, which awards filers up to $1,000 per child, as of 2017.

Tennessee Substitute Teacher Starts Safety Fund For Union High School Security Equipment

    Taking action instead of waiting.

    Via WCYB:
After the tragic school shooting in Parkland, Florida last week, Mendy Robbins knew she had to do something.

Robbins, a substitute teacher and mother of two students at the school, started a safety fund to buy security equipment for the school.

The UHS Safety Fund is hoping to raise $10,000 to purchase barracuda door locks for each of the school’s 55 classrooms, along with two large monitors for the school resource officer to watch surveillance footage.

“I get really tired of people blaming the school board for not doing this, not doing that,” Robbins told WCYB. “I think it’s our responsibility as parents to do something to work with our school system.”

The administration at Union High has jumped on board as well. Principal Dan Roop hadn’t thought of the idea of purchasing the door locks until Robbins brought up the plan last week.

Delaware May Allow Kids To Choose Their Own Race and Gender Without Parental Knowledge

    Via Fox News:

A proposal that would let students in Delaware as young as 5 choose their own race and gender-identity – without approval from their parents – has sparked a bitter battle in the First State.

On one side are parents who say they want a more welcoming climate for their transgender or non-binary children. On the other side are parents who say the proposal infringes on their basic parental rights.

Under Regulation 225, schools would be required to provide access to facilities and activities that are consistent with a student’s gender identity—regardless of the child’s sex at birth. That includes bathrooms, locker rooms, team sports and adhering to the child’s preferred name. Under the proposal, students could also choose their own race.

What has rankled some parents is that the new regulation does not require schools to inform parents of the child’s decision. Instead, the policy advises administrators to assess the child’s well-being before disclosing the information to the child’s parents.

While a growing number of states are imposing rules to protect transgender students, Delaware’s proposed rules go further – letting a child decide, even if the parent disagrees with the decision.

Dana will destroy those dumb twits. Logically, if the actions of one (or three depending on eye witness records) murderer can cause a Constitutional amendment to be removed/destroyed, then I feel those supporting this gutting of our freedoms to enjoy the loss of another amendment and experience the most vile cruel and unusual punishment known to satan himself. It goes both ways bitches.

    Beacon Journal/Ohio.com
Marshal Wrenn Jr. was covered in blood when police arrived at his East Akron home Tuesday night.
Wrenn, 52, was seriously injured but able to tell officers his former roommate and his roommate’s girlfriend attacked him with a chain saw during a fight about money they said he owed them, police said.
According to police, this is how the incident unfolded about 9 p.m. Tuesday in the 800 bock of Baird Street:
William Mitchell, 32, and his girlfriend, Aliyah M. Wiley, 23, went to Wrenn’s house to confront him about an alleged debt.

A quarrel turned physical and Wrenn and Mitchell fell to the floor of the living room next to a chain saw.
Both men struggled over the saw. Mitchell overpowered Wrenn, hitting him with the chain saw blades, opening severe cuts on one of Wrenn’s hands and his arms, police said.

Wrenn tried to flee out the front door, but fell and Mitchell and Wiley dragged him back inside the house.
This time, Mitchell’s girlfriend used the chain saw to slice open the back of Wrenn’s legs, police said.
Wrenn somehow broke free. When he ran for help next door, Mitchell and Wiley fled, police said.
First responders transported Wrenn to Summa Akron City Hospital with serious injuries.

While police were at the hospital with Wrenn, Mitchell and Wiley turned up in the emergency room, too. Mitchell, police said, was seeking help for a cut on his hand.

Officers arrested Mitchell and Wiley, charged them with burglary and assault and took them to the Summit County Jail.
