Please Read 10-12 seadoo's
It has happened again, not 1 bolt not 2 but three bolts have failed on my pump connecting the ride plate. Out one week all fine go out the next and IBr light flashes and i am missing 6mph. Look and i find this 1 bolt snapped and two on the left hand side gone. Thank God nothing went wrong. Please everyone that has this kind of setup s3/t3 hull please check and recheck to make sure everything is tight. A $1 bolt can wreak a $800 pump.
We are takingit into the dealer to see if anything else is wrong this weekend.

I'm assuming 2 worked loose and one was taking the full load and broke, is that the case? Is it just that they were secured incorrectly?

Well the week before i went wave jumping and the load of the ski crashing down must of snapped one and loosen the other 2, and all up untill 34 hours they were secure

2012 TX and PX have the pump bolted directly to the boat and not the ride plate.
This is probably the reason they decided to change the mounting system.

I was also missing one and had 2 loose on my 10 rxtx, I caught it when I swapped the wear ring before things went bad, I think I need to tear it down again and check on them

I usually take a peak in there before each ride. Do yourselves a favor and throw the loctite in/torque and let it sit for a day.

there is a TSB about this came out in may 2011.. they are supposed to replace the bolts with normal hex heads, loctite and leave for 24 hours before entering the water..
