    xp ltd

    can any one give me some advice, I am currently running a superstock xp in the british championship, spec as follows twin pipes, magnum pump,boost ported cylinder, nove 48 carbs, compression 140psi, pump gas franco ignition
    every thing seems to run fine for 2/3 motos then iam suffering from detination which is becoming far to expensive please help

    add some race gas to the setup, open the squish, drop the compression, run a less steep impeller, turn the timing down a degree or 2.

    thanks jim i think the prop is a scat track 14 21 i will find out the other bits and let you know, the engine was dino tested when built and was producing 175hp and was raydar gunned at 63.5 mph we are running it on what we call in the uk super unleaded fuel .do you think i need to turn to avgas?

    i run straight av gas in my mel miller big bore with no issues.

    74 mph with killer arm pump
