    Prototypes models?

    Has anyone bought any?

there was one in store, its the "same" deal, but you get some features left out...
for example, front storage bin is locked shut, so you would need all the opening/closing mechanisms,
    same for the glove box..

and last but not least, it lacks the rear 2 eyelets...

im thinking of getting it, as its cheap.. and a good deal for me..

i can easily do the storage bin latches and what not..

but im wondering if you would "need" the rear eyelets?
if so, how hard would they be to install?
just drill a hole and use a washer and bolt on the other side?

    price wise, its 6K, , a 2011, wake 155, which is 1/2 price from a "new" model...

    what do you guys think?

I didn't realize you could buy them. Kawi scraps there's. I think it has something to do with titling or registration.

Interesting though I'm definitely paying attention

usually they dont sell them, but i found a local dealer that is selling it as for parts..

the only reason why it is for sale for parts is because it doesnt have a HIN number...

    http://www.stemariesport.com/pwc/use...a1e9e59016.htm
heres the one ive been looking it, its already "sold" to a friend of mine..
    but hey, it works...
for that price, its like buying a new engine.. so.. why not swap hulls with another ski? it still seems to be a cheaper option..

good start for a conversion ski anyone?

nope, no more... well for now..

and he gets them because, the reason he told me, was he is the favourite dealer of BRP, as he was voted #1 in Quebec and Canada, and i do agree, they do have an amazing customer service!

He said he gets them from BRP to give to customers to try them out, and he gets the newer ish models first..

a good example, every dealer said they dont have the rxp-x in stock, because its in too high of a demand..

he had one on the main floor, and said he has 3-4 more...

    others must order them...

i can take pics of what's missing if anyone is interested, as im guessing all of the prototypes are missing this stuff..

part number wise, this is missing :
    292000933
    232581200
    234081100
    250200011
    293050001
293830037 these are the part numbers for the rear eyelets

    and then theres
    205069060
    207363560
    232561200
    232581200
    234062600
    234062600
    234081100
    250200011
    269501822
    269700118
    293050001
    293830037
    for the front bin assembly

    and last but not least..

    264000059
    264000019
    for the glove box...

so, all of this would run up what? 300$ at most?
and its a perfectly fine ski, just lacks the H.I.N. ....

EDIT: friend just told me the bin divider and ski rack is missing too..

You wont be able to register it, at least in the US you cant. All prototype vehicles are destroyed or supposed to be destroyed after testing. The factory and dealers are not supposed to be selling them.

Seadoo does not and will not sell any of their prototypes.

Those are chinese knock offs and not the real deal.
