    I ran my kana to one of the air vent hoses in the front and put a frogzskin on the vent to prevent water intrusion. Sounds badASS with the supercharger whine and pulls like a beast!!

    That's crazy that the filter rusted in fresh water. I wonder how Spectre got away with advertising it as "stainless steel"...The kit now comes with a different filter that I have special made for the 4" air intake. The old filter has actually been discontinued by Spectre.

    You dont have to run a filter, I run one for peice of mind, but I saw no performance increase without one.

    What did it do to your rpms? Are you hiting the limiter?

    Of course I am....sucks. V-tech is on the way and then we will see what happens.

    Thanx. I guess the only way around without vtech is make prop bigger.

    Not really without a ECU mod the prop will just be messing with the GPS/RPM limiter closing the rewards faster.

    My fizzle filter rusted after second season with partial salt water usage. I PMd him and he gave me a deal on a replacement.

    yeah but damn those Riva clamps are real nice. It also comes with a bracket which the Fiz does not........... yeah cable ties will do.
