Yamaha SUV 2000 VS 2004 size different?

Hi, just have a quick question. I order a DOWCO yamaha SUV cover online. when I got it, the box said cover for Yamaha SUV 2004. The SUV I have is 2000. do anyon of you know if there is any hull different between these two? I don't want to open it as i can still return and exchange if it is wrong. Thanks

My buddy has the 04 and I have the 01 but I would be very suprised if they are different sizes. I have heard that the actual molds were outsourced to different companies though...so there could be some disparity I guess. Let us know.

try to put the cover on. damn, it is tide very tide, after we get the front in, we can only get one side of the back in. the cover feel tough enought to withstand a big force so we use all the "power" we have to pull it down. after 5 min and sore fingers, the cover is on. it is so tide fit no wonder it dont need nothing to hold it down. I talk to the guy i but it from and he said this is the way to do it just let it stay on for a few days and it would scratch a little then set. it will still be very tide but will be easier to put on.

here is the pic before the cover is on, I forgot to take pic while it is on.

No idea on the size difference on SUVs but based on other stretch covers (PWC and cars) I have had that does not look or sound like it fits.

It does fit, I will post the pic tomorrow. You can tell by the line on the cover it is made for the suv.
