    FZS R&D r2 flash

Hi all,I have a 2009 Fzs can buy a r2 flash ecu cheap will this be ok for a stock engine?
Is the revlimit of 8750rpm going to affect reliability?
Am going to do some small mods like Tommy Jordan free flow, ribbon delete and riva pod filter in the future.
Already have a hks bov,r&d grate seal kit.
    Thanks for your advice

So long as you're going to be happy with the mods you list, the R2 will be a good choice. Wouldn't worry too much about increasing the rev limit, since you'll be using the stock SC wheel + BOV, reliability won't change significantly.

After everything else is done, you'll probably also want to fine tune by tweaking your stock prop a bit.

R2 is a fine choice. Do your mods with a modded VX plate and repitch your prop and you can go 76+ mph.

Exactly. And if you want to do more mods, later ( S/C wheel, intercooler, etc ) your ready. You will also see some better performance and fuel economy even with your current setup

With a reflash and the oem wheel i have heard that if your rpms get above 8100 you are doing good.
It is a good starting point and you will be in the 73 to 75 mph range.
Next would be a et lb wheel and the fizzle ic.

Just get the R2 and build the ski around that, have a read of some of the threads relating to R2 and you will soon see how important it is to getting good results.
