    1997 SLT700 - Won't take gas on lake

    Hi Everyone,
My 97 SLT700 starts easily and will rev to the max on the trailer, but, in the water, it starts easy, but, won't come off the choke and I can't get past half throttle. I am the original owner. I have updated the electronics, the battery is good. It does have the original fuel lines and filters and the carbs have never been rebuilt. Any ideas?
    Thanks!

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that the fuel gauge quit working last year. Should I replace all the fuel lines and filters? What should I do to get the gauge working again?
    Thanks.

Short answer: The ski is starving for fuel because no maint. was done. Rebuild everything.
