How easily can this exhaust water leak be fixed?

Ok so took my SL 750 out for the first time, ran great but noticed it was taking on water. Got it home hooked it up to hose and as soon as water was flowing it starting shooting out of the marked area in picture.

Just curious if you can take the visable bolts out to lift a bit to get gasket on, or is this a failry big pain in the a$$? Any help would be great.

Also noticed quite a bit of oil in the water that was leaking in...don't know if there is a connection or not.

Its the 4 bolts at the top and a few more at the back and bottom. But yes, you can lift it up, shift it back and replace the gasket. Take the time to remove all the old stuff...it will be on there good.

You can see the entire exploded parts diagram online.

See my signature links for the Polaris Industries parts link.

Yes there is a gasket. 5830038 is the part number. You can get from Polaris or aftermarket.

ok dumb question. I resealed the gasket no issues there. But after i hooked the hose up it was draining iut of the grate underneath is that supposed to happen? Also drained from back.

It should come out in the pump area in the rear of the ski on that model.

It does, but after I shut off the water it also came out of the grate underneath. Like it pours out by the jet when the water is running. and under the grate, especially when i shut off water.

Its probably coming out the water intake in the jet pump and spills out the front of the pump when the engine is off.
