    drive line coupler

Hi There, It's been a while since i have been on. I have a question about driveline coupler. I have 1 that has two seals at the waterside and one seal at the pto side. And i have one that has just one seal on each end. Witch one is better? Cannot find any where to show me the other seal number. any thoughts?

I have never seen one with 2 seals on the outside. You can get 8702 seals from a local bearing supply house.

You are talking about the through-hull driveshaft seal/bearing - correct?

I don't know where i got it from, maybe ebay. I am going to rebuild them and it also has a long sleeve in the center, and the seal that is on the water side is truned backwards. thanks for the seal #.

Rebuild it with the seals oriented in the correct manner, per the OEM specifications.

If the internal brass bushing is worn it too can be replaced.

yes i know the seals are in correct.

The PTO seal is facing inward to seal the grease in and the first seal is also facing inward to seal the grease in and the rear seal is facing outward to seal any water out.
