Drive shaft ? for modified pro 1200

Modifying a pro 1200 with pipes and carbs. and wondered if you have to run a hardened drive shaft and stub shaft? Will be running the craft in smooth to light choppy water. Do the stock shafts flex, break, or splines strip?

The long driveshafts will flex when turning almost 8k RPM or higher. Your stock PRO shafts should work fine.
