1995 Seadoo XP taking on water during aggresive riding.

When riding hard and water is coming over the hull it is coming in the air vents and filing the hull. When cruising and parked its bone dry. Is there a fix for this or do I just need to install a bilge pump.

maybe bilge pump..check the operation of the vac bilge system first. I like an electric pump..they still pump if the engine if off...

Def check your seadoo bilge lines-they suck the water out when riding only. A bilge pump is good for a more dependable system and can pump when sitting. Or you can invest in some Frogzskin and cover the holes with that material lets air through but not water-pretty trick! But the cheapest is to make sure your stock bilges are working.

The bailers are def. working when riding. Its only doing it during slow aggresive riding with trim down and water coming up over the hood. My waveblaster 2 lets some water in when doing this but the XP is 10 times worse. I was thinking it was a common problem and there was an easy fix. Problem is when I ride this ski this is the only way I want to ride it, its great fun. Even better than the waveblaster 2.

Then either install a bilge pump or get some frogzskin! Both will help.
