Knock Sensor Harness
Question..( excuss my not knowing)Is there a knock sensor harness on an 04 GTX LTD> (185 H.P.) ?...Do they go bad..if there is one?
Ski is running about 63 ish MPH at 7600 rpm...(on the numbers)...but I think I am hearing a bit of detination at that speed. Running 87 octan at the moment..or should I feed it 91 octan.?

When they go bad the normally give a P0326 code I think it is. I used to run mine on super unleaded in the UK, 91 octane. There was a knock sensor mod that was on the RXP 04 and I think it was on the SC GTX on 03 / 04 as well. It was the fitting of a piggy back harness between the knock sensor and the main wiring loom plus a download done via B.U.D.S at a Seadoo dealer.
Normally I have found the knock sensors to be oversensitive rather than not reporting a knock - Check yours is still fitted correctly???
