    New Here

Hi guys I'm a new member here, I've been lurking around for a bout 2 weeks now since I bought my seadoo. I bought a 2012 RXT 260

I love this seadoo, has so much power and the handling is great. But the speed limiter is just upsetting..I think I'd like to do a few little mods for some more speed. But would removing the limiter and other things void the warranty? Anyway some help would be appreciated.

I'll add some photos from my phone

Welcome! Pretty much anything you do to these skis will void the warranty unless your dealer is willing to work with you. As for the speed limiter, you can either go V'tech ($1000) or RIVA SCOM ($250). The Vtech will get you much better results, but cost you. I have an SCOM for sale if you are looking for a cheap way past the speed limiter.

It wouldn't have any harm on the motor would it?

No, the SCOM most certainly will not do any damage to your ski, it only removes the speed limiter. As for the V-tech, there are many people running it reliably (soon to be myself tomorrow) and Jerry (you don't know who he is yet, but he might as well be the Sea Doo God) has said it is very safe. Maybe even safer than stock because the AFR's are better.

Which one is better then stock? Would I have to get any gauges?

    Sweet ski..
Both r better than stock but vtech is the best but also big $$$$
I would suggest what ever you do make sure you can undo it without the stealerships knowing.
They look for every reason to try and void your warranty.
    Rip on...

Exactly, if you are going to mod it, make sure you know how to take it back out. Vtech is just a reflash and the SCOM comes out with two bolts, so both are easy in and outs.
