2005 R-12x oil light flashing
I need some advice... Every once in a while my ski acts up... From what I can tell the warning light doesn't flash a code, rather a consistent blink, the warning beep, power is limited, and the oil light is flashing.
It did this to me at the end of last season, I winterized it and left it alone. Got it out this season and did it again. Oil looked a little high, so it's where it should be...
At this point I've beaten on it for a good two and a half hours on and off through out the day and everything was great until that evening and it threw my rpms back, and started the blick, beep and flash routine.
If I take the lanyard out, the oil light flashes for a few then goes away. I can start it right back up and it runs normal... (I normally ride slowly back to the house.

To clarify, what procedure are you using to extract the fault codes?

Im all ears.... just thought I watched the light on the dash flash?
It just steadily flashes... no pauses.

That could be low oil pressure or an ECT [temp] sensor. Mine would overheat and buck due to bad ECMs overheating....

The flashing light does show the codes after the correct procedure has been followed - the blinks you are seeing are simple warning flashes
Have a read at this

Guys I appreciate it. I'll have to wait till this weekend and report back. Is there a video or pictures anywhere to help dumb it down a tad?
