Jarrett, i am tweaking skat prop a little more today and have about 1 gallon of fuel in ski. I am hoping for 73 in the morning. Am still bouncing off limiter but hopefully i can lower rpms by 20 and be at 7880 . With the right water conditions i think i can.....

We're adding a 12/14 Skat and Riva Waterbox to my daughter's ski this week in the hopes of getting her up into 8300 RPM range. Once she passed the 71 MPH mark, the bounce came back, so I added a couple of shims to her ride plate last night. Hoping that will get the nose down. Although, she is wanting to do some closed course racing now, so we might have to go with a different ride plate and sponsons to get her ready for that.

Keep it up guys, someone toss some high compression pistons in with big cams and some nice ITBs

I'm with Smokey, when I get tired of the 15f this is the way I am going.

A good local racer rode my VXS WOT around some buoys yesterday and he said it reminded him a lot of his 15F. Not sure if that was a good or bad thing to him, but I agree that the hull reminds me of my old STX-R, just a little easier and more predictable in the chop, imo. I'm about to put a Farthing plate and some Macc sponsons on one of mine and find how well it turns too.

I'm interested to see how that 14 goes...

The new VXR hull does handle good but not a 15F in CC conditions. The new FX hull is the most impressive hull design to come out as of late.

Farthing plate does kick ass and takes the VXR to a new level while also increasing top speed.

This is at least my opinion.

Should have some new numbers with the prop and waterbox by early tomorrow morning.

Scratch that. Snapped a ride plate bolt when finishing up the prop install. Out of commission until I can get it out of there. I'd suggest getting fresh ride plate bolts if you've loosened those bolts more than twice.

All this testing and you haven't converted to stainless yet? Rookie mistake. Mind you we all learn the hard way. Just smash the whole insert out and by some new inserts off gh. Easiest fix.

Thanks for the kick while we're down. Where would one get these replacement bolts you speak of?
