    another vts problem.

bought 96xp 800 last year and decided to replace the vts system, motor, module everything. it worked perfectly for the whole summer. After taking it out of storage it did not work. All fuses fine and motor works. Took it too local dealer and they are saying that its the module and it has shorted out. the two wires that are coming through the housing connecting to the motor are both sending a possitive current. just wondering if anyone knows if the module is shot and how would this happen?

    thanks guys

Sounds like the problem is on the ground side then. When one wire is positive the other has to be ground. They switch polarity to make the motor go up or down.

this article is in the stickies but here is a link to it. It explains a lot more on the VTS system than the manuals ever doo.
