2012 rxpx with Riva SCOM, help
I'm not sure if the bypass is working. Is it suppose to start out in sport mode with SCOM? Ony runs 67-68, 7950

Does the scom disable the rpm and gps limiters?
is 7950 the rev limit?

It "allows" you to start in sport mode. Search my name on YouTube. I did a quick vid on the SCOM

If you are only hitting 7950 for max RPM's, you might have some other issues. You should be at least 100 more than that (or at least I always was) stock. As for the SCOM, it should be starting in sport mode, but make sure you did the wiring if you don't have any extra modules on your ski.

From what I read on the SCOM when I tried it: was, you can hit the start button to "wake" the ski and then select sport, then start the engine. Check out the video above.

Here's an update. The previous readings were with a srx 15-20, scom, and 4" intake. Put the stock prop in and picked up 1 mph and 100 rpm (69, 8050). I confirmed the scom is working, cause when I disconnected it rpms would go to 8050 at wot, then as it reached top speed rpm wld drop down to 7910.
Ski has 60 hrs, and has cruise module. This was done on flat water, trim up, 1/2 tank, 170 lb drive

Yea I will look into that. How else would it limit your mph, if not limiting your rpm? And yes I was with Brian.

Yea I'm thinking it's your pitch on the Solas. You might want to try a 15/21 pitch. As Scott stated - the SCOM only bypasses the GPS so you don't get throttled back. ie. When you get over 67 it closes your throttle body even though you are WOT. You should see 8040 at top speed.
