    Opas

I have an 07 Rxp with a little over stage 1 mods (72mph). Im in the process of adding riva pro block offs. I was told removing OPAS will slow me down!!! Any input would be greatly appreciated

One of the seadoo dealers does performance work here and there. He has a 82 mph rxp with Opas. He explained to me that the opas keeps the ski tracking in the chop. It seems to me that in calm or chop, the opas acts as a drag in the water slowing the machine.

removing the opas is not going to gain you any speed but its not going to slow you down. i orignaly ran the block off plates. then up graded to the riva pro series. they are more to help with porposing that you get the faster your ski goes

I've never taken mine off my RXP. I'm doing as much as 80mph and they don't bother me. I've heard too much conflicting info, so with that, I've decided to spend $400 elsewhere on tried-n-true shit

I tend to lose pump suction in moderate chop and its hard to maintain speed. I dont run 75+. 72 more like it. I think they look good for sure. I got a set on here for a fair price. Waiting on them to get here. I dont think i have a problem porposing
