idle adjustment?

how so i adjust the idle on a 94 gtx and a 96 gtx and i live in utah if altitude has anything to do with it

It depends on what you are trying to adjust - idle speed or idle mixture..

There is an idle speed "T" screw near the throttle wheel / throttle cable by the carb..

There is an idle mixture screw in the carb body..

i would like to adjust the idle speed it seems to be boging down at idle but if i hold the throttle down a little bit it idles great.
just bought the 96 on thursday and took both out yesterday both ran great thanks to the help from this forum

you don't want to adjust the the idle mixure it is a fuel setting - you want to adjust the idle speed screw..
