Can Anyone Verify a SL 1050 CDI Part Number for me

Got in a replacement CDI and can't verify it with my ski for 2 weeks when I go back down to the lake. Polaris parts' Index doesn't list CDI box by part number.

    New CDI part received #4060180

If this isn't for a SL 1050, then what is it for if anyone knows for sure? Will it work on my SL 1050 do you think?

How many CDI versions did they use on the 1050's?

    Thanks

I think I found the info, but anyone know if I can use the new CDI unit with an old stator?

you can not mix the old stators with new cdi boxes, or vise-versa. They have very different designs.

So do you think from the info found I have a new CDI #4060180

No, that part number looks to be a old style part per the list you just published. A new style would have come from a 00+

Do you think it's safe to try if ALL wires match up properly?

The wires will match up if its new or old short of the coil wires. Someone verify this, but if you have no serial port on the CDI, then its the old style and will work.

No serial port on this one. I can't remember what's in it. So, the new ones have serial ports? Do any of the old ones have serial ports?

That is the non updated CDI. It will work if you have a non updated stator. 4010447 is the updated CDI part number. And I do believe the wires are different on the old versus the new CDIs.

Excellent I have an old un-updated ski, so I will try it and let you all know if it works.
