Problem found after removing Vane pump to replace the prop, plastic fins damaged.

Was working on removing the prop today since it was damaged by the original ski owner. Well after removing the vane pump and looking at the shaft, the plastic fins (part of the hull) some are damaged.

Do I need to replace those? If so is it a dealer part only?

    Thank you.

I'm sure he meant RXP, do as the others have suggested and remove ALL the fins. Cut them off smooth then sand or file to make them flat with the pump shoe opening. Been running like this for several years with no adverse affects. Some of us running PRVs (Pressure Relief Valves) have had to remove these to make room for the plumbing fittings!
