FZR/FZS Intake Grate for 90+ mph

Hello Everyone, I have a turbo FZS that runs an honest 90+ MPH. Lately, I have been stressing the fact that I have been using an aluminum R&D intake grate. I have had no issues with it yet. I check it regularly. However, I'm curious as to what other owners of FZ's thats are running 90+ mph have seen. I don't want to get hurt/killed on my ski!

I know Riva makes a stainless grate, but with the bucking issues I have heard of with the Riva grate I am nervous to try it out. I don't want to learn that it has a bucking problem at 90+ mph.

So if you have experienced any issues with the Riva or R&D grate on a fast FZ please share.

    Thanks in advance, Joe

At the Hydrodrags, Uva from U-Jet in Miami, showed me a broken R&D intake grate that he said broke on him the day before the drags testing his ski and consequently threw his son off the ski. I didn't want to put that in my post as I do not like to say people's names over the internet as I do not "know" Uva. I only know of him. However, peoples lives depend on this. Maybe someone on here knows him and can see if this was an isolated incident.

I know Uva from U JET, the Grate did broke (dont remember the grate he was using) on his son at very high speed causing major bruises and some other stuff, Be careful at those speeds.

I have used the R&D grates on many skis with no problems. I have used the 15F grate on a Manvell bottom Fzr up to 95mph. Any part can break look at F1 cars they spend millions and still have failures. The R&D grates are the way to go.
