    Help. Ring installation

I installed one of the rings on my 951 xp upside down and tapped it in with a rubber mallet. It is closed completely in the groove. I can't get it out without damaging it or the piston. Will this cause problems? It is a wsm piston. Engine seems to turn smoothly by hand.

    Thanks a lot.

It must be corrected. You need to dis-assemble and use a tiny precision flat tip screwdriver and carefully pry it out of the groove.

or you can use a ice pick and try not to break it but if you do just order a new set of rings
