    New here

    Just bought a project 1996 Polaris Slx780 it has a blown middle cylinder rod snapped off. I have been reading allot of the posts there is some great info on here

    Hey man nice ski, got one exactly like it. It will run around 50 to 52 MPH on glass, I think never GPS mine but I've been told. I have a thread on mine if you want to read it I'm sure it will answer some questions you might have, I blew mine up and re-built it so it should help you some. http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/showthread.php?t=171030 Bent rod they must hyrdo locked that or something.

    I need a crank and one jug the middle one was trashed from the rod breaking

    The jug you can probably find on e-bay but I would send some e-mails first to verify that the jug is actually the size you want, I bought one and it was 1.0 over, luckily they were good people and took it back. Like Blue said John Zigler will almost certainly have your crank since its the same as a 650, 750, and 780, I would also buy everything else from him just to make it easier such as gaskets and carb kits.

    If the crank went, take a close look at the cases too. usually they go when a rod breaks.
