One last try.. (Yamaha XL700)
Problems.. I dont know what to do now. I think a have tried most things.
* Rebuild the carbs
* Empty the tank, and replace it with "fresh" fuel.
* Check the fuel filter
* Change the highspeed screw like the manual says
* Done a Comp-test.
* Check the reeds
* Replace the coil + sparkplug wire
* Search for leakage (around the carbs)
* Changed the sparkplugs
I have no clue what im gonna try next, someone knows what i can try? Feel like the hope is almost gone for this ski.
A video how the ski sounds on high rpm.
Pretty desperate right now.. thats why so many topics (sry about that), just hoping that someone how has a clue might see this.
/ Best regards Niklas

OK, I have no F'n idea whether or not that sounds alright on the trailer.
What are the symptoms on the water?
It sounds like you've done all the normal stuff, and all the "beyond normal" stuff, so you've got 2 things wrong fighting each

On the trailer it almost sounds as if it's hitting a rev-limiter of some sort.
Perhaps posting some of your findings (compression figures, etc) would be helpful for those here who are going to try to help in this thread.
I don't know enough about this ski to offer any sort of suggestion beyond an observation though, sorry.
