    SLT 750 wont start.

What will cause it to not start in the water? It runs fine with a hose on it. It will not start at all in the water. It cranks and tries to fire but will not.

Set your RPM out of the water in the mid to high 2000 RPM range. The ski should idle around 1250 in the water. If the idle is too low, it won't stay running.

make sure battery is fully charged.

In the water the battery has to turn the impeller which places a higher load on it.

Still need some help guys. I made sure the battery was fully charged. Started it at the ramp put it in the water and it wouldn't re-start. Pulled it out on the ramp and it started fine. Tried putting it in the water while running and it died. Tried it at higher rpms and it still died. Any suggestions?

Its lean out. starving for fuel. not getting fuel. thats why is turning off. out of water no load on motor, in the water it has more load, so it needs for fuel. Turn the low speed screw on all 3 carbs 1/8 out and try that. If it continues do another 1/8 out.

I agree, definitely sounds too lean. Like he said adjust the screws and also check that fuel filter. I had the same problem once. Adjusted the screws and swapped out the fuel filter and it ran like new. good luck.
