    SLX780 revival

Two years ago I bought my 96 SLX780. She has treated my very well, and I am very happy with her. Unfortunately 2 weeks I was T-boned by a 2011 Yamaha ski which caused significant damage to me ski, details here. I got an estimate from a local shop for $1,800 and settled for $1,500 cash because I am going to fix her myself. I have a couple of paint schemes in mind, either red/black, or red/silver. I did a piss poor PS job for black here.

    Stock photo here

I plan to paint the bumpers black. I am going to get rid of all of the decals besides Polaris on the hood, and SLX on the sides, getting new ones custom made. I am looking for a skilled PS artist, and ideas for any different colors for the upper body. Hood has to be either red or black. Let me know your ideas!

Yeah makes it look like a newer ski for some reason. I got to ask how did this guy hit you to begin with, or woman.

He had a powerful ski and he is inexperienced. The woman voice was his daughter who was his passenger.

I have started to order parts and I am researching paint now. Back to the rub rails, do you guys think Plastidip would hold up?
