    Not another scom question!

Sorry to beat a dead one..but I could not find any conversation about the scom's and their effect on the max rpm while the pump is out of the water...does the limiter kick in at a different rpm rpm when installed? or does it just fool the fly by wire and increase throttle travel thus producing more boost and top speed. You could beat my 250x all day long in 3' chop with the limiter kicking in to keep all the pieces together.... I assume with the scom your producing more heat along with power..any cooling changes that should be made?...new prop to accomadate more boost?...ohh.. I guess thats more than 1 question.

Or should I just buy the thing install and have fun?

    Thanks

Biggest mistake people make and some still to this day is throttle control in the air your motor will not last long if you don't let off.

The only thing inside a SCOM is a power, ground and a frequency generator. Your over thinking it... just ride it and have fun. But if the ski leans to the left stop immediately and start a new thread.

Agreed....not always possible to feather the throttle depending on the wave..but you can try! most of my riding is in chop so your grabbing the top of the next wave before the rev limit kicks

your a funny guy....honestly I had not noticed!

So its just a freq. generator that overides...thanks!

    full tilt thats gold mate!

id side with caution and leanr to use good throttle control as stated above by FIRE when popping out of the water (as best you can anyway)
just be aware of it and your riding with adapt to your awareness
