    Tps--- need help!

Went to the dealer and had him hook BUDS to see what my TPS was set at on my 10 rxtx. With the ECU powered he was reading 5.1. With the engine running it was was at 9.8. He did not write the numbers down and said he could of got the numbers mixed up. He reset the sensor and the numbers stayed the same. He told me he had never reset a TPS before. Is this normal readings. The reason for this is I checked the AFR's after a vtech flash with my maptuner and am very lean (14.9 at idle and 13.4 at WOT 8380 rpm's). I did flash my ECU the first time without seeing the video (did not know there was one) and am wondering if my dumb ass could of altered my TPS with a faulty flash to cause this lean condition.

Are you running the 8350 or 8400 tune? I thought is was a % of opening. I'm not sure what the correct number should be yet. Did you lock up on the box after updating BUDS?

Vtech sent me the 8350 and 8650 tune. I had the same lean condition with both. Vtech thought it might be fuel pressure. I checked and it was at 60psi. Emailed vtech and am waiting for direction from Jonatan. I have not recieved an answer from vtech if an incorrect procedure to flash can change other parameters in my ECU, like the TPS. I have not tried to flash my ECU after BUDDS. If my maptuner locks up what am I supposed to do! This really sucks.

If you lock up I think you're shit out of luck till they get the new tune to you(that just means stock tune).
I'm installing my afr gauge next week to see what the #s look like.

The 2009 and later skis with Bosch ECU and iControl use the electronic throttle servo to control idle speed, so they never go to zero like the earlier models with separate idle speed control valve. A reading in the 9's is normal while running at idle.

Awesome. So TPS is normal. I received my email from vtech. He said there was nothing wrong with flash. He suggested I check the AFR's with the stock file. That should be what is in my ECU now after hooking up to BUDS. Could this be a vacuum leak! I will check with my vacuum gauge and take a test run. I'll be back with some numbers.

Atmospheric Pressure is 14.696 (no boost at idle)
