09 RXPX vs 12 RXPX Comparison, how different are they?

Just wondering if people who have owned both, how would they compare them? Fun factor the same?

    I have both.
What kind of riding do you do?
What do you mean by "fun factor"?

Carving, jumping, aggressive riding. Just curious how different the two are. My friend with a 06 RXP rode my PX and said it was a much better ride handling and performance wise then his, so I just wondered if the newer PX is any better then mine, or just different.

Performance, hole shot, acceleration about the same.
    Wave jumping the older hull.
    Rough water, hands down 2012.
Riding a tight twisty river, 2012.

Where do you ride most, lake or river?

I ride both, rivers and lakes. The rivers are smooth, the lakes on the weekend, not so much. I'm totally happy with what I have, it's just that I met the guy who used to own my ski, he traded for a new PX, and he said he missed his old one, I just found that hard to believe. I love the looks of the new PX, but I love mine also, and it cost about half as much as a new one, so I like that to.

there is no comparison...the T3 hull on the 2012 is hands down the best there is. Period.

What makes you say the older hull is better for wave jumping compared to the 2012?
