Goodbye Supercharger Problems!
In the next couple weeks I will be testing my final version of my OEM supercharger replacement. This setup removes the OEM supercharger and replaces it with a complete turbo setup. The kit is fully waterjacketed and is a complete replacement for the supercharger. All factory hosing, tubing, etc is retained and can either be used at stock boost levels or higher depending on turbo selected. This setup will accomidate any Garrett GT(X) 25,28,30,35, Precision, or as seen in the pics, Borg Warner EFR turbo. The exhaust of the turbo is even plumbed back into the factory waterbox for super quiet operation, and were working on a straight rear exit exhaust as well for high HP setups. Comes with a O2 bung for tuning. The factory intercooler and coolant tank locations are retained. It takes approximately 5 hours to install everything and is 100% reversable. The only modification needed is a slight trimming of the lower seat cowling. This setup will work on all 4-tec skis, with the exception of the iS models. These pics were taken about three months ago. Actually based on the size of turbo selected, it costs far less than others. This kit has been something that has been in R&D for us for close to three years. It had been put on the backburner for a while due to other turbo kits we were working on for Nissan GTR, Porsche Turbo, Lamboghini Gallardo and BMW turbo to name a few. This final version is the third prototype we have done on these skis to fit all platform changes and advancements. We have researched and developed it to be installer friendly with all the 4-tec models with the exception of the iS skis.

The kit itself also doesnt change the way your ski is setup. It is designed to integrate with all the factory hardware etc. No need to buy intercooler relocation kits, new tubing/hosing, or relocate exhaust exits and piping. That alone is worth big money savings.

well it have turbo lag like the hondas.

I may be speaking out of turn here but with a turbo that size lag would be there but performance should be great.

It all depends of what type of HP figure youre looking for. If you use a small frame turbo like the Garrett GT25 or GT28, turbo lag is very minimal. Youll still be able to get 300+hp out of a GT2860rs. Now if you look at the BW EFR that we developed this with, the turbo has great power probably good till about 450+. The adavantage of this turbo is the billet compressor wheel and titanium turbine wheel. This makes the rotating mass extremely light, which allows very quick spooling. The disadvantage to this turbo is you cant find them anywhere. Sold out. Were lucky we got one which was part of the reason we changed our design for the third time.

So whats the cost of this kit going to be? I understand that it will depend on what turbo is selected but give us some examples please, this is going to be the million dollar question so you may as well put it out there once or you will be answering it a thousand times.....
