Back to the Doo
Been away from skis for a few years and decided it was time to pick up another one. For some reason the majority of the used stuff this spring was pretty well used and abused. After almost giving up I found a 2011 GTI 130 at a local dealer with only 20 hrs on it. Looked it over good and the machine was extra clean. Took it out today for the first time, rode in all different conditions from a 2ft chop to flat water. Top speed on speedo was 55, and my handheld GPS showed 54.5mph. Overall the machine performed well and I think I made a fairly good purchase.

Great ski! Wouldn't mind having one of those, reliable and good on gas!

I have a friend who has a rental operation at the beach. He buys about 20 of GTI 130s each year and puts between 450 and 550 hours on them each year as rentals. Never had an engine problem yet. They have been so good that he is considering keeping some of the low hour (450) ones for second year in the rental fleet, and that is in salt water. In the past he has sold them and renewed the entire fleet each year.
