Battery won't take charge?
Found this interesting article on how to freshen up your "won't take charge" battery, I do have at least one that I'm gonna try:

Second parallel battery method for charging a 'dead' battery
What really kills any battery, even an AGM battery, is allowing it to discharge and then let it sit like that for a long time.
If you run a battery very flat, it may be weakened but it probably can be brought back to life if charged again right away.
I do sometimes use the parallel battery method to get a really dead battery charging again, but if that dead battery has been sitting for a while it is unlikely to be worth the trouble of charging it.
When using a second battery to 'trick' a smart charger into charging a very flat battery, be sure to stop the charging and disconnect the second battery after 30 minutes to an hour. If the dead battery by itself is still too flat to allow the charger to work with it alone then that battery is probably too far gone to be saved.
Today I just pulled a completely flat Deka AGM battery that had been sitting for a year or longer (came out of a friend's stored watercraft). I used a second battery to get the smart charger going on the AGM battery, but after several hours on the charger that AGM battery was still unhappy.
The 'dead' battery felt quite warm which tells me it wasn't properly accepting the charge and was simply cooking itself internally. I would never be able to trust that battery even if it did hold some charge.
Installed a brand new Deka AGM and life carries on.
