    300x Supercharger removal

Anybody have any tips for getting the supercharger out of a 300x? I have all the bolts out and I can't get the s/c past the last two or three threads on the motor mount stud as there is no room left. What am I missing? Reason for removal is I had a s/c belt let go last weekend and when it went it shredded itself into a a mess that was sucked into the intake and I imagine the s/c and intercooler, so cleaning everything out. Any help is very much appreciated.

how did it possibly get sucked into the intake? i found the same trouble when remiving mine just have to twist it in the right direction if not loosen the engine mounts and move the engine slightly (thats if its hitting the hull)
another way is lock two nuts together and remove the stud, your choice

Thanks man, great idea, I think the stud needs to be driven a few more millimetre in, I'll give it a go.

As for the mess, I had a 3+ hour limp home from Catalina when the belt snapped. I assume the belt had been going out the whole ride because that shredded felt shit was everywhere. Just to be thorough I checked the intake up front and WOW the screen inside is absolutely covered, I'm surprised I was able to limp it at all.

    Thanks again.
