    Took Out My '12 P-X For First Time Today, Got A CEL

    Finally Hit the Water on my New P-X Today. What a Ride, I Love this thing. Feels soooo Good to be back on a 'Ski.

    Ran into a Problem though.

    Mods: 4" Intake, Resonator Delete, VTECH 8350 Tune, 0 Hours on 'Ski.

    When I hit the Water, even though I have "Sport Mode" Enabled all the Time, I Manually put it in Sport Mode. Drove 100% Fine. Got to where I was going, and my Friend wanted a Test Drive, so he Pulls away on it, about a Minute Later the 'Ski makes 1 Long Solid Beep and the CEL comes on. He Idles it back to me, Shuts it down, and says the CEL just came On. I wake the 'Ski back up, no CEL, Start it, Manually Enter Sport Mode, and go for a Ride, no CEL. I come back, he Hops on, I Show him how to Enter Sport Mode, goes for a Ride, comes back, no CEL.

    So basically, it's only Throwing a CEL when I don't Manually Enter Sport Mode. Didn't Try it in Eco.

    When I Loaded the Tune, everything went Smooth, no Hiccups.

    But other than this 1 Problem all Day, that Cleared itself upon Restart, the 'Ski Runs 100%.

    Any Ideas?

    Check engine light.
    It's probably the tune. Send a message to Jonatan and you will prob have to sync your ski for him to fix it

    I threw two codes today which put me into limp mode/CEL. Codes came out to be bad intake pressure and air leak. It would only act up when idling. Came home and flashed to stock- FIXED. Reflashed to 8350 - PERFECT!
    I think it was the TPS that was off and it thought it was getting too much air. I need to get a Candoo

    PO113? This happen to me as well but not as much as the TPS code I'm getting. Plug the key in and ski codes instantly with limp mode scrolling across the dash. Plugged another ecu in and problems went away. I tried this method of flashing back to stock then reload the tune but it's only a band aid. Needs to be resolved!

    U may have the new buds, but old vtech tune. Email them and upload your new tunes. Very similar thing happened to me. The new buds moved some things around within the ecu.

    CEL = Check Engine Light.

    The 'Ski hasn't been to the Dealer since I Picked it up. So the OE Software hasn't Changed from what I had Originally Sent to VTECH.

    I also Noticed that when it Threw the CEL, my Friend was Pumping on the Throttle in a Turn. I HATE when People do that, there is no need for it and it's just Annoying.

    While Google'ing around, I saw a Similar Situation like this that someone had, and they said they "Heard" it was some kind of Over-Rev During the Break-In. If the RPM's go over 8k during Break-In for any reason, it'll Throw a CEL.

    So could my Friend have came Unhooked just enough in the Turn and while Pumping on the Throttle, sent the RPM's over 8k for that Split Second?

    I ran mine in hard, but the stock ecu with its fly by wire will only let u rev as hard ad it wants u too. Wonder if the vtech still keeps those run in characteristics? Also try flash back to stock then back to your 8350
