City bus catching on fire as I drove by...video

I'm in Houston visiting my sister and her family. She picked me up from Hobby airport around 7:15 p.m. and as we drove down I-45 east of downtown we came up on a city bus that had stopped in the HOV lane and had tons of smoke pouring out of the rear of the bus. Several people were off the bus standing in the HOV lane. Once we were able to see the bus we saw the fire break out, which can be seen on the video. I hope everyone got out of the bus, and I imagine they did since the bus was
sitting in the middle of the HOV lane and the fire appeared to start in the
    engine compartment.

Unfortunately that kinda thing is a normal, almost every day occurrence on a daily commute in the big city.

It's crazy here in Houston! My sister lives just off Highway 6 and we went out for lunch today and there was a motorcycle pinned under an SUV and the SUV had caught fire and burned completely up! What in the world is going on in Houston? I think there may have been a fatality in the one I saw today. It looked pretty bad.

You should live in Central FL. I have never seen so many flipped over cars, multi car pile-ups, swamped cars till I moved here. Nuts.

No kidding. I've lived here for 12 years. I can't believe how bad people drive down here. Blue hairs going 5 under in the left lane, sportbikes with no headlights or helmets, imort cars cutting you off from the right turn lane, etc, etc.

Then add a little rain..................forget it.
