    need urgent help!!!

heres the story, im cruising around slowly, suddenly, loss of power and a high noise.
thinking it was algae or something and after some dives, and a long tow home, i pulled the jetski
out of the water and went to check the pump area.

from both sides ifs clean. i decided to turn the motor over again without starting
and the noise is still there(fuel flood mode) and ibr overide.

noise description: like theres a clutch slipping, motor revs but has a very metal on metal type of sound.

no power or speed is gained. imediatly turned the seadoo off.

    it is a 2011 Wake 155
32 hours on it, well maintained.

can anyone please direct to where i should be looking???
i also have never took off the jet pump so if it is needed,
please instruct me on how to.

    thanks in advance!

EDIT: the motor sounds good when at idle, but giving any more RPM and it does this "metal on metal" type of sound.

it isnt exactly a metal on metal sound, more like a clutch slipping type of sound...

I would try and narrow down where the noise is coming from. The engine or jet pump, why did you tow it? I am not too familiar with that exact ski. If you think it's the pump I would check out the wear ring for damage

i towed it back as i was afraid to do any further dammage.
i am guessing that the problem is pump related as the engine runs fine both on land and water at idle
when you add any throttle the noise starts to rise..

there is no propulsion what so ever when throttle is added. I'm thinking the splines
on the impeller got 'messed up'.. but i am uncertain.

wearring seems to look ok and as it should,be on a 32 hour ski...
