Question 1st time pwc buyer! Kawasaki or Yamaha

I will be purchasing a brand new pwc in the coming months and would like to know which one of these brands are more reliable and less likely to break down. I will be shipping this to a tiny island overseas and maintenance (if needed) might be a problem. Supercharged or not? Kawasaki or Yamaha? Pls help! Thank you!

1-3 seater, gas, flat and sometimes rough water, as for the supercharged or not I don know which engine will break down easily. I'll be purchasing an '11/'12 so I know they'll be 4 stroke engine! So I'm wondering which one of these brands has the most cons and most pros. Thanx!

Yamaha! I wouldn't have it any other way.

    Yamaha Vxr/s = no maintenance

If reliability is your main priority, I would suggest strongly buying a Yamaha. I would also advice against buying a supercharged engine. I like the FX HO. Easy on fuel, easy to maintain, good in rough water and a very reliable ski.

I would recommend the Yamaha VXR or VXS to any first time buyer. Very well executed, simple to use and maintain ski that looks to be super reliable and has a good amount of performance stock. Freshwater maintenance consists of taking the ski to the dealer at 10 hours and then at every 100 hours after that for scheduled oil changes. Other than that, just fill it up with 87 octane gas and go ride. I just did 84 miles on mine yesterday on a single tank of 87 octane gas and could have gone farther. Try that on a supercharged ski

dude yamaha, kawasaki has to up their boost to reach the 69 mph to match yamaha because they are 300 pounds heavier, and about 500cc deficient not only that
my jet ski shop says they come in for repairs 8:1 ratio over the Yamaha's
