Engine Conversion MSX 110
I have been having issues with my MSX 110. I just purchased another one with the hull stripped out. I would like to tackle a new project and replace the factory engine with another. Ay ideas on the best two stroke engine to put in this hull with the least amount of fabrication?
Any help would be appreciated.

A few MSX conversions have been done already. Swapping in the fuel injected MSX 140 engine would be a drop-in with full ECU and wiring. There is also the Matrix carbureted (?) 2-stroke engines that could drop-in too, but I think they are more rare.
Other more involved conversions play with the 4TEC Rotax engines

Engine mounts are different between the 110/150 and the 140.

D'oh! Good catch beerdart.
I knew the MSX came in those flavors of engines... forgot about the mounts. So not a direct drop-in.

Keddano put a 1200 2 stroke in a MSX 150 hull. Check out his build thread. Or go the 4 tec route like Beerdart did. That would still be an awesome project......maybe some day I will do it.
