2002 Polaris Virage - Eng cranks but won't start

I'm a newbie to PWC's. I've purchased a 2002 Polaris Virage (Sgl Carb, 2 Cyl Red) with 85hrs. PWC was parked for about 2yrs prior to recent purchase. I've cleaned and replenish Fuel & Oil tanks, replaced all Fuel and Oil hoses incl Relief and Check Valves, Filters, Plugs (BPR8ES), Battery (YUASA - YIX30L).
No success with engine starts. Cranks good. Battery 12.59v (static), 11.25v (cranking). ALL connections between Stator, CDI (Topside: Art. Nr. 572 2 04, PN 4010404; Bottomside: #4010568, A-3123), Coil, Start/Stop Reg (#401064 & Teminal Board are correct per wiring diagram. No damage to wiring found. ALL grounds (Eng block, Grounding strap) check good.
    Start/Stop Sw tests results:-
OFF POS: R/PUR pin - Y/R pin (OPEN)
    ON POS: R/PUR pin - Y/R pin (0.0 Ohmns)
    TETHER Sw test results:-
IN POS: BLK/Y pin - BLK pin (OPEN)
OUT POS: BLK/Y pin - BLK pin (0.0 Ohmns)

Continuity from Spark Plug caps to Eng Block ground: OPEN
Ign Coil tabs resistance with BLK/W leads attached from Ign Controller (#4010175): 59.0 Ohmns
Ign Coil tabs resistance without BLK/W leads attached: 0.0 Ohmns
Resistance of Coil tabs to Plug caps: OPEN
    Stator Male Plug test results:-
Eng Block (-) to BRN pin (+): -5.40 Ohmns,
    10.39v (static),
    9.79v (cranking),
    to R pin (+): 12.09 Ohmns,
to GRY pin (+): 0.00 Ohmns,
    to PUR pin (+): OPEN,
to GRN pin (+): 12.09 Ohmns,
    to Y pin (+): OPEN.
i would be grateful for any support to get PWC operational ASAP. Thks!

I dont know off the top of my head all of the specs, but are you sure you are getting fuel? Check the plugs after cranking and see if they are wet. Also, a simple way to check the ignition is to just pull a plug, stick it in the boot, ground it to the head, and see if it sparks. My guess is that if it sat with bad gas for 2 years, the carbs need to be rebuilt and gone through. Just for a general state of health, have you done a compression test yet? Did the ski ever run durring your ownership, or was it purchased non-running?

Many thanks for your support! On Saturday, i spent the full day further trouble-shooting and was successful. I borrowed a CDI and engine started on first attempt. I've placed an order for a new CDI. Looking forward to enjoying the ski....

Don't forget all the non-engine maintenance stuff.

Jet pump bearings, drive shaft seals, hoses and clamps everywhere. Bolts, nuts, etc.
